Dawood Mamoon has done his PhD from Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, The Netherlands in Economics of Sustainable Development. His PhD research concentrates on ‘International Trade, Poverty, Inequality and Security’. In addition to a PhD, he has earlier obtained two research degrees: A M. Phil. and a M.A in Economics where his work concentrates on the relationship between financial development and real economic activity, while separately looking at Banking Sector in Pakistan and then Stock Markets. Most of his research has been published in internationally refereed journals of high repute. These are Economics Letters, Education Economics, Economics of Governance, Journal of Peace Research, Pakistan Development Review, Journal of Educational Planning and Administration, Icfai Journal of Financial Economics. Mr. Dawood Mamoon has more than 10 years of experience working with International Organizations, Research Institutions and Policy Think Tanks. He has worked in liaison with organizations like UNDP, UNESCO, ILO, Dutch ministry of International Cooperation, Netherlands Science Foundation, International Institute of Environment and Development, Institute of Social Studies, Utrecht University, Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Quaid-e-Azam University to device and advocate many scientific and academic initiatives.

Faisal is a serial entrepreneur and he has created or revived a number of enterprises over time by applying professional business knowledge and his natural acumen for wealth creation. Starting from reviving a sick unit in packaging industry, Faisal created a company dealing in advanced textiles and successfully sold the company, which is a thriving business today. For last few years, Faisal has focused on the fast growing telecommunication sector in Pakistan and has led his company emerged as one of the largest vendors in telecom installations. While retaining most of his focus for his business, Faisal contributes in Development Pool projects related with business development and enterprise development. He also gives entrepreneurship development lectures at various forums. Faisal Anwar is a graduate of Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

With over 14 years of professional experience, Nasir is a specialist in project management, education and vocational skills, capacity building of the communities, research and programme development, projects evaluation, institutional strengthening in the fields of child labor, community development, education, micro-credit, legislative and civil society strengthening, and women in politics. He has been mainly associated with Bunyad, one of the largest NGOs in Punjab, providing community based services. Nasir has led and managed multi-disciplinary teams, mobilized local resources human and material on various development projects through out the country. An author of innumerous reports for NGOs, Nasir has developed three life-skill manuals for the high-school going female students.

Salman is a specialist in resource mobilization, advocacy campaigns, training, and research and media. Currently a National Coordinator with Aurat Foundation (AF) he has been with the AF for the last 13 years and has previously worked with Ali Institute of Education and Society for the Advancement of Education (SAHE), Lahore. A celebrated author of books on local government system of Pakistan, he has contributed to innumerous studies, reports and booklets also adopted by local and national civil society groups as resource material.
