It has focused upon pro-poor resource allocation and mobilization of peasant and worker groups at the local governance level. It has also designed and managed voters’ education and mobilization campaigns for national elections 2008 and apart from developing training manual for strengthening democratic practices in Pakistan it has conducted Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions with experienced public interest advocates of Punjab. |

Development Pool’s founding partner has published a book ‘Alternative Youth Policy in Pakistan.’ DP also works with several youth focused NGOs and provides them research, planning and managerial support including preparation of several manuals on communication, resume development and analytical and self management skills. Its research on political and democratic activism of youth in Pakistan is part of a multi-country report. |
